ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026. Prepare your established ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, including the 2024 climate amendment, for transition to the final 2026 edition. This course helps experienced quality managers and internal auditors translate the relevant changes into practical action.
Explore the confirmed emphasis on leadership, quality culture and ethical behaviour; the connection between quality policy and strategy; separate consideration of risks and opportunities; and awareness in everyday work. Follow fictional New Zealand business cases through organisational context, planned changes, documented information, process control, internal audit and improvement. Make decisions, compare detailed feedback and practise collecting evidence.
The 12 interactive lessons include colourful presentation slides, illustrated walkthroughs, detailed case studies, practical examples, decision activities and a marked knowledge check in every lesson. Allow approximately 2โ3 hours for reading, activities, lesson checks and the final exam. Your progress is saved in your individual student account so you can return and continue.
Use the final workshop to build a gap assessment, allocate responsibilities, prioritise actions, plan internal audits and prepare for your certification body's transition arrangements. Use an authorised copy of the final standard for your own clause comparison and confirm the applicable transition timetable with your certification body. Course completion does not change your organisation's certification status.
The final exam contains 30 questions. You need at least 24 correct answers (80%) to pass after completing all lesson checks. A successful learner receives an Access Food course-completion certificate using the existing student and certificate system.
The fee is NZ$60 plus GST: NZ$9 GST, NZ$69 total per learner. Paid enrolment uses the existing secure online checkout.

How you will learn
Move through presentation-style slides at your own pace. Select topics to reveal more detail, work through practical scenarios and complete the knowledge checks along the way. The final exam presents one question at a time with an answer-review screen before submission. Your student account saves completed lessons and assessment results.
Assessment and completion
Complete and pass all 12 lesson knowledge checks, then complete the 30-question final exam. At least 24 correct answers (80%) are required to pass. Practice decisions provide feedback and can be retried; they do not count towards the final exam score. Existing assessment retry rules apply.
Access Food course-completion certificate after passing the assessment. This course is not ISO accreditation, NZQA accreditation, auditor certification or certification of an organisation. Completion does not guarantee a successful certification audit.
